Homecare Speech Language Pathologist Northwest Region
Overview The Speech Language Pathologist screens and/or evaluates speech, language, oral motor skills, swallowing, and cognition, scores and interprets tests, plans and provides therapeutic intervention, provides patient and family education, and communicates with outside agencies and referral sources. Provides age-appropriate care and services to patients from the age of birth to 21 years, and select adult patients. This is a Homecare role going onto homes, will cover Lucas, Wood and Hancock counties. Location: 571 Longbow Drive, Maumee

Responsibilities
Evaluates patients with varied diagnoses to determine developmental and/or functional status using standardized measures or clinical observations; identifies patient's strengths and deficits; establishes goals; and develops an individualized treatment plan incorporating patient and family needs.
Qualifications Education:
Experience: Previous pediatric experience desirable.
