Job Description

Danfoss in Minneapolis, MN is searching for Electrical Engineering Interns for the Summer of 2025.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.



  • Applies advanced engineering skills regarding electrical design, analysis and problem solving.
  • Conduct product functional testing and product analysis as needed.
  • Perform qualification testing of the finished product - including EMC, ESD, electrical transient and HALT testing.
  • Create engineering documentation.
  • When opportunities come up, perform schematic design using engineering principles and advanced math concepts.
  • When opportunities come up, create PCB layouts with a complete understanding of the impact of traces, vias, planes layers and component placement.

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree inElectrical Engineering Program, with Junior status or higher
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Knowledge of the following equipment: digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, PC data acquisition hardware, inspection equipment, signal generators, power supplies.
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Motivated self-starter who is willing to tackle all aspects of electrical engineering
  • Candidates must be located within 50 miles of the work location.
