OVERVIEW

The Process Lead provides safety and servant-based leadership to achieve breakthrough production results. The Process Lead works to eliminates top losses on their designated system(s) and has accountability for the plan to eliminate losses on a 24-hour cycle through a rigorous Daily Direction Setting (DDS) system. This position uses continuous improvement systems and enhanced teamwork to execute and build plans. The Process Lead plays a critical role in developing the technical capability of operating teams and mastery of process control.

Located in beautiful Middle Tennessee, the Murfreesboro plant is a manufacturing site comprised of two plants with over 1000 dedicated employees serving the Morning Foods and Meals & Baking Operating Units. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Technical content owner for the line/ system
  • Leads portions of the daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly direction setting, including:
    • Leverages data to analyze losses and create strategies to eliminate
    • Execution of the plan for the day.
    • Weekly loss tree refresh.
  • Owns the following for the assigned line/ system:
    • Manufacturing data integrity
    • Health of Process Centerline system: Leads identification of centerline targets, documentation of standards
    • Coaches line/system leaders and operators through building basic technical capability, problem solving, data analysis and change management.
    • Performance Management including identification and improvement plan to address planned and unplanned losses. Examples include waste and equipment reliability.
    • Ensures food safety and quality.
    • Identifies and addresses safety risks
  • Supports development and execution of the 90-Day improvement plan to deliver the line/system performance goals through loss elimination.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of manufacturing operations experience.
  • H.S. Diploma
  • High learning agility
  • Technical acumen
  • Experience with MS Office, especially MS Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.S. or B.A. degree, preferably in Math, Science, or Engineering
  • Experience leading change
  • Previous manufacturing leadership or manufacturing continuous improvement experience

  • International relocation or international remote working arrangements (outside of the US) will not be considered

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $68700.00 - $103200.00 / Annually. At General Mills we strive for each employee's pay at any point in their career to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
