Specific Issue Center Stock Clerk duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Create and maintain all reports necessary ensure proper inventory maintenance (Stock Levels, SL Accuracy, etc.).
- Donning proper Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
- Issue and turn-in Hazardous Material (HM) physically and in EESOH-MIS database following proper Artisan identification and system's authorized user list.
- Execute all Issue/Turn-in transactions at a fast-paced and high-volume to ensure requesting Artisans are supported in a timely manner ensuring immediate support requests are fulfilled.
- Transfer, receive, label and store HM correctly and efficiently, at an accuracy of at least 98%.
- Monitor HM stock reports in EESOH-MIS and conduct physical inventory checks to ensure the correct amount of inventory is being stored and/or requested from customers in order to meet production needs.
- Verify receipt of HM transferred/sold to Issue Centers (HTA's) from CMS 3PL Material Expeditors by signing/validating documentation.
- Act as main POC for coordination between Artisan at their point of issue and the CMS Supply Team, to ensure orders are placed as needed.
- Place restock orders in a timely manner to ensure proper stock levels maintained.
- Examine stock upon receipt to ensure integrity before signing for material.
- Coordinate all necessary information/tasks with fellow SCs on previous and follow on shifts.
- Ensure all daily, monthly, and yearly checklists are fully executed and documented for their shift.
- Store HM according to the Shelf/Bin process following all applicable regulations when storing, transferring, and receiving HM.
- Maintain all assigned Point of Use lockers and carts/kits.
- Ensure all necessary Shelf Life Extension Updates are initiated (lab or internal) to ensure the maximum shelf-life of HM.
- Ensure items with SL extensions or denials are dispositioned correctly.
- Compile reports on all issues, receipts, and delinquent Artisans IAW established deadlines.
- Decant HM from parent to child containers to meet production needs.
- Remove and process non-conforming stock from general inventory (Code J, Expired, and Questionable Integrity HM).
- Ensure industrial cleanliness of work-area and HM.
- Under no circumstances shall a SC manage HAZWASTE (HW) or determine/identify proper waste stream.
- Maintain proficiency in the use of EESOH-MIS to ensure all HM is properly tracked from receipt through use/disposition.
- Operate motor vehicles, motorized scooters, golf-carts, forklifts, bicycles, and/or burden carriers as assigned.
- Other Stock Clerk duties as assigned. Stock Clerks may be temporarily assigned to other duties as necessary to meet VTS/contract requirements.

- Must be a Citizen of the United States.
- Must maintain a valid state driver's license and clean driving record at all times.
- Must pass a criminal and financial background check prior to hire and must be able to pass and sustain the DLA PSI background check criteria during the entire duration of their employment.
- Select Stock Clerks are required to obtain and maintain a SECRET level Security Clearance.
- High School Diploma or an equivalent. Experience in handling and storing HM desired.
- Must be able to safely lift 60lbs, unassisted.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills.
- Must present a neat and professional appearance IAW VTS policies and consistent with the workplace environment.
