Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Specialist of Rehab - Brooklyn.

In this role, the successful candidate Provides speech-language pathology services independently.

Job Responsibilities:

    • Perform evaluation of inpatients and outpatients with speech, language, voice and swallowing disorders.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Provide in-service training as needed.
    • Willingness to adhere to flexible work schedule, if needed.
    • Documents in accordance with departments protocols.
    • Attend evaluation conferences and rounds to discern progress and prognosis of patients under treatment, as appropriate.
    • Guides, informs and counsels families with response to communication, swallowing and voice disorders and progress in treatment.
    • Treat patients with speech , language, voice and swallowing disorders.
    • Perform and interpret fittings and refitting of tracheoesophageal protheses as needed, independently.
    • Perform and interpret modified barium swallow examinations independently.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • To qualify you must have a MA/MS degree in Speech-Language Pathology; NYS License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Spanish a plus.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $79,698.00 - $119,780.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
