Title: Operations Analyst

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Duration: 12 Months

Shift: Monday to Friday 9 to 6 or 8 to 5 normal business hours

Duties:

Global Banking and Markets Operations, Franchise New Business Group

The Franchise New Business Group "FNBG" is the central point of contact for all aspects of client on- boarding/account opening. FNBG team members are aligned with specific sales desks and work closely with sales coverage, legal, credit risk, operations, compliance and clients to ensure an effective and smooth on-boarding process.

Our core value is building strong relationships with our institutional clients, which include asset managers, hedge funds, corporations, financial service providers, fund managers and private equity funds. FNBG team members develop strong relationships with our Clients. Team members are expected to play a key role in client relationship management and understanding dynamic changes in commercial demands of the business as well as grow subject matter expertise in onboarding and regulatory requirements.

FNBG also works closely with the broader client onboarding teams to identify and monitor potential revenue areas for the Global Banking and Markets Division. They then work with sales and clients to translate the potential revenue into actualized.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owning and driving the onboarding process on behalf of the desk for all client types and products (Cash and Derivatives)
  • Active discussions with Sales to manage priorities
  • Drive internal and external negotiations and processes including ISDA agreements and account opening
  • Develop in depth knowledge of all requirements needed such as AML, KYC & product to legal entity alignment
  • Having a sound appreciation of new business policy and process requirements
  • Manage tight timelines for fund launches, market specific deadlines and trade Focus on ensuring we meet our Service Level Expectations at time of onboarding
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, able to multi-task, and prioritize projects
  • Detail oriented and self-driven
  • Strong client service orientation



Skills:


  • In depth knowledge of onboarding KYC and/or regulatory requirements
  • Minimum of 1-2 of client service/financial institution experience
  • Derivatives/ISDA experience/knowledge is preferred
  • General understanding and/or prior experience in related onboarding functions (e.g. Due Diligence) is preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree
