Eastman has a need for a Process Improvement Engineer in South Coal Gasification.This position will focus on, though is not limited to the rectisol portion of the gasification process. The ideal candidate should have experience and in-depth knowledge in process improvement, manufacturing technical service, capital project work, change management and asset integrity work.Candidates should be able to communicate effectively and function in an innovative, fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment. This position will report through Eastman's Chemical Development Division and support the Chemicals and Acetate Manufacturing Division (CAMD) located in Kingsport, TN. Responsibilities
Manage capital projects for the department including scope development, study, management of change, cost estimation, capital approval, detailed design, construction, training, and final controls. Qualifications
B.S. in Chemical Engineering discipline required.
