Essential Job Duties |
Provide operational support for Outstanding Researcher (OR) green card process, as well as the occasional Extraordinary Ability and National Interest Waiver green card petitions, and also O-1 extraordinary ability temporary nonimmigrant petitions (after receiving training from the IE Manager). Additional duties may include training on H-1B nonimmigrant petitions, and assisting the Manager with the storage and record retention processes. This position requires a detailed review of all documentation received, and the ability to follow checklists and SOPs and organize a large volume of exhibits and information. With an additional support person, IE will be more efficient in processing OR cases, which will help IE better support campus by assisting faculty members to obtain permanent residence status, which benefits the employee, their family, and also the sponsoring unit directly. |
