As a Remote DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with our clients to design, implement, maintain, and test various technical solutions using the latest technologies. You will be responsible for creating and enhancing Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines and various automation processes, including build management, automated deployments, automated testing, and configuration management.

• Managing our Azure Kubernetes Service and managing deployments for applications via containers

• Assisting with troubleshooting networking issues related to our load balancer and application gateways

• Manage pipelines for application and IaC deployments into our various environments

• Gather technical requirements and execute deliverables

• Scale infrastructure and applications in an automated way

• Configure monitoring for applications and infrastructure using Elastic Stack, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor

• Document DevOps processes, procedures, and environments to ensure continuity

This opportunity is remote and will require occasional on-site support during project deployments.

Must be able to obtain and/or maintain Secret Clearance. If you do not have a Secret Clearance, any offer is contingent on receiving an Interim Secret clearance within the average government timeline. Current federal averages are approximately 17 days.

• U.S. Citizenship required

• Minimum of three years of IT/DevOps engineering experience

• Candidate must have a CompTIA Security+

• As a condition of employment, the candidate must acquire an AZ-104 or AZ-305 Certificate within 60 days of being hired or will be at-risk for termination.

• Strong proficiency in Bash, Powershell, Python, or similar languages

• Experience automating infrastructure and application deployments using pipelines (Azure DevOps, Gitlab, Github, etc.)

• Experience with deploying Linux based containerized applications to Kubernetes

• Experience with container hardening processes and scanning tools for images or code (Checkmarx, Sonarqube, Trivy, Aquasec, etc.)

• Proficiency in infrastructure management and associated Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, etc.)

• Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP)

• Experience with configuring monitoring tools (e.g., Application Insights, Elastic, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)

• Experience working with the DoD

• AZ-104 or 305 certifications

• Experience in Windows or Linux Server Administration (with RedHat, CentOS, or similar)

• Understanding of application gateways, load balancers, and virtual network management
