Summary or Description:

At Worley, we are dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to complex engineering challenges. We are seeking a motivated Engineering or Construction Management Graduate to join our team and contribute to our Direct Air Capture project currently in the construction phase. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact project in a dynamic field environment.

Purpose:

As an Engineering or Construction Management Graduate, you will support structural engineering services on the Direct Air Capture project. Your role will involve contributing to studies and analyses, preparing detailed designs, and ensuring that engineering services meet our specifications and regulatory standards. You will work closely with the structural engineering team and other project stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:



  • Deliver Structural Engineering Services: Ensure that all structural engineering services meet Worley's standards, customer expectations, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications. Aim to complete tasks on time and within budget.
  • Perform Engineering Services:

    • Contribute to studies, analyses, and recommended actions to support the project.
    • Assist in the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations, and reports.


  • Effective Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with the structural engineering team and other project stakeholders, including the customer, to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Problem Identification and Resolution: Identify issues and problems related to structural engineering and construction. Develop appropriate solutions and seek assistance when needed to address complex challenges.

What you will bring

Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:



  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with structural engineering principles, design software, and construction management practices.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify and address engineering issues and develop solutions.
  • Field Experience: Previous experience or internships in a construction or field environment is advantageous but not required.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of relevant statutory and regulatory requirements related to engineering and construction.



Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited institution.


Preferred:



  • Civil or Structural Engineering preferred.
