Overview: This position assures the delivery of safe, quality and cost-effective care by co-workers within procedural departments: perioperative services, cardiac Cath/EP Labs, and GI procedural locations. Collaborates on efficient utilization of available resources and meets productivity and financial goals. Supports and aligns all goals and expectations in Mercy's Five Dimensions of Excellence - Service, Cultural, Clinical, Community, and Stewardship. Mercy values and charism will be incorporated into the delivery of procedural department care, goals and vision. Works collaboratively and effectively with other leaders, physicians, and co-workers throughout the health system to enhance communication, share pertinent data, and improve processes across the continuum.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership in healthcare.
  • Required Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing and master's degree in related field (Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or Business).
  • Certifications: Current Nursing License in the applicable state of practice.
  • Other: Ability to work with diverse groups of people across the ministry.

    Experience with the management of data analytics, implementation of technology, and clinical processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills, can-do attitude, and strong determination for success. Results-oriented, creative, well organized, driven, self-starter with high energy level, and ability to influence others. Ability to travel.
