Description:

Markon is seeking a senior graphic designer to support our Intelligence Customer.

Responsibilities may include:

• Developgraphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
• Utilizerequest management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests
• Coordinatewith UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user friendly experience
• Creategraphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
• Developdesign concepts and implementdesigns for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online
• Ensureproducts conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
• Conducttechnical quality checks
• Managean approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles
• ProvideCartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference maps

Requirements:

• 18 years of experience with a BS or 10 years of experience with a MS
• Demonstrated experience leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
• Experience with front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS
• Experience with photography and video editing
• Experience creating graphics products that provide an engaging and user friendly experience
• Experience creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products
• Experience developing design concepts and implements designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online
• Experience ensuring products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances
• Experience conducting technical quality checks
