The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for the Strategic planning of manufacturing and distribution at multiple Tollers for the Architectural business. The Planner will be tasked with taking the demand plan and developing the supply plans and purchase orders ensuring the lowest cost of ownership model for the business while also maintaining a high level of service.

You will be a liaison and communication point between Tollers, Sales, Transportation, Re-Packers, and Warehousing, keeping all parties informed of potential issues affecting the business.

You will work a hybrid schedule based in Cranberry Twp, PA and report to the Manager of Outsource Manufacturing and Supply.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Planning process, which is comprised of placing Purchase Orders, providing forecasts to vendors, managing inventory levels, along with planning raw materials.
  • Track performance across several KPI's, including OTIF, Freight Premium, and Aging Inventory.
  • Manage Steel Wool re-work process at Distribution Centers by ordering corrugate and providing labels to support.
  • Manage all buying and reselling materials for PPG procured materials and incoming orders shipping from our Distribution Center and direct to supplier orders.
  • Maintain master data parameters to ensure accuracy on purchase orders placed with vendors.
  • Provide supply planning expertise to the commercialization of new products or resolution of main inventory shortage issues.
  • Supply forecast information to suppliers to improve lead-times.
  • Process purchase orders for both finished goods and raw materials, this would also include managing capacity and feedstock for repacking operations.
  • Oversee deployment planning responsibilities for assigned customer and distribution points.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or a related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in Inventory, Supply, or Demand planning.
  • SAP and Power BI experience.
  • APICS certification as a CPIM.
