JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

Dignitas is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator with a versatile skill set and a passion for learning new technologies to join our cyber range team. This role involves supporting the National Cyber Range Complex (NCRC) program in Charleston, South Carolina.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Responsible for the daily management of the NCRC's Event Execution System (EES) and Integration Development Environment (IDE).
• Oversees resource management, ensuring compliance with system architecture and requirements.
• Delivers all necessary elements for customer test events.
• Performs custom programming at customer request.
• Assumes responsibility for ongoing data architecture for product.

Desired Skills and Requirements

• Strong background in Linux,
• Linux+, Security+, CNNA-Security, CISSP or equivalent certifications
• Strong understanding of operating systems (Linux and Windows), applications, networks, with moderate to high level software and hardware troubleshooting skills.
• In-depth working knowledge of data centers, computer rooms, and operation of complex computing environments including certificate management for both servers and clients.
• Experience maintaining physical and virtual servers.
• System Admin experience with network storage (NetApp SANs)
• Experience with VMWare/Deploying VHDs/Virtual Computing

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities but can occasionally be expected to direct and assist junior engineers and interns.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education in addition to 5 years of professional experience.

TS Security Clearance prior to start

Must be a US Citizen
