Want to be in the middle of cutting-edge Research and Development? Join the team that's taking world leading Keysight precision position electronics products from design to production. As a SW Coop Engineer in the Interferometer Electrical and Computer Engineering R&D group, you will be writing final product, production released code. You will gain an in-depth understanding of low-level, embedded system development and our software release process. Our team is looking for an engineering student who is proficient in C++ and is familiar with embedded concepts, hardware simulation, and CI/CD development.

1. Job Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a Jenkins-based CI/CD build and test pipeline
• Write embedded driver code
• Test and Deploy software packages
• Test and Deploy firmware packages
• Document your work

1. Required Skills

• In Progress B.S or M.S. in CPE/CS
• Proficiency in C and C++
• Object Oriented Programing
• Bash/Python Scripting Experience
• Unix Environment
• Fast Leaner
• Good Documentation Skills
• Collaborative and a Team Player
• GIT Experience

1. Nice-to-Have Skills

• C# familiarity
• Experience with Jenkins
• General CI/CD Experience
• Experience with JavaScript
• Experience using Hardware Simulations
• Questasim
• Verilog

Nice to have: Be able to work for 6 to 9 months on a full-time, in person basis

Keysight Internship Program Requirements

Candidates who wish to be considered must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university as of September 2025. Applicants who have graduated before September 2025 will not be considered unless they are starting a MS or PHD program after graduating.

Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates who require sponsorship for full time employment in the future may not be considered for this position.

Pay Rate:

$25-45 hourly
