Where you'll be:

This position will be based in Springfield TN.

All about the role:

As Sr Manufacturing Engineer, you will drive or participate in assigned Manufacturing Engineering projects and new Product Industrialization projects This person will plan, design, develop, automate and implement manufacturing process/automations and equipment.

What you'll do:

  • Development, optimization and preparation of layouts, process and metal parts industrialization.

  • Responsible for development/implementation of advanced metal stamping, cut, bend and conformation equipment.

  • Provide support for R&D in development products and will introduce them at manufacturing according to Global guidelines and Electrolux requirements.

  • Responsible by DfMA analysis for new products and platforms.

  • Guarantee the best manufacturing cost performance, safety requirements and quality to any new implementation (Process and machines).

  • Work with continuous improvement, and be familiar with KPIs as OEE, MTTR and MTBF.

Qualifications and preferred qualifications:

  • Cost and project feasibility.

  • Lean Manufacturing.

  • Production Engineering and Process know-how capabilities of automated assembly equipment.

  • Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems.

  • Ergonomic, time and Methods / MTM

  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.

  • Self-motivated, action - oriented individual.

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferable Mechanical). Master's degree is a plus.
