SUMMARY Responsible for providing customer service and clerical support to assist service team in supporting existing accounts and soliciting new business. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Prepares insurance binders; * Inputs applications and creates letters, and other forms of correspondence; * Analyzes certificate requests, including review of contracts for insurance compliance when required, to ensure certificates are issued correctly and coverage gaps are addressed with AE/AM involvement; * Assists clients with day-to-day service needs including assistance with claims at direction of the AE/AM; * Participates in the claims process as necessary; * Reviews endorsements and audits for accuracy, communicates deficiencies to carrier and/or service team; * Generates auto ID cards; * Assembles policies (printing policies, organizing paper policies in logical order, assembling in binder, etc.); * Submits change requests to carriers; * Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information); * Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Two (2) or more years related work experience Must obtain valid insurance license within 120 days of hire Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by Supervisor SKILLS Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills Excellent organizational skills with effective time management skills Strong attention to detail Good planning and prioritization skills Good problem solving skills Strong analytical skills Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork Ability to maintain a cordial and effective relationship with clients, colleagues, carriers and other business contacts Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite #LI-KG1 We are proud to provide comprehensive, high quality employee programs to meet employees' needs now and in the future, including a very competitive financial package.
