Apogee Engineering is seeking a Program Manager - Systems Technology Strategist for a new Digital Materiel Management (DMM) team to help revolutionize the model-based systems, architectural, and data landscape for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance & Special Operations Forces (ISR & SOF) Directorate, located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

What you'll be doing:



  • Serve as the Systems Technology Strategist for the ISR & SOF Directorate's Digital Materiel Management (DMM) team
  • Spearhead the development of Enterprise-level solutions focusing on streamlining processes across all aspects of the organization and evolving Digital Engineering / DMM strategies that enable a digital acceleration and transformation of tools and processes
  • Provide expert engineering support, guidance, and technical alignment on DMM engineering and programmatic activities across the WI Enterprise
  • Contribute to the Digital Transformation efforts, initiating/maturing/pursuing Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) and other innovative methods of Digital Life Cycle Management as applied to Enterprise programs
  • Facilitate strategic Enterprise technology planning to provide coordination and alignment across the Enterprise
  • Support with researching, analyzing, proposing, and driving solutions that leverage the most advanced technologies appropriate and in alignment with WI Enterprise DMM technology strategies
  • Support with identifying strengths and weaknesses, plan and implement strategies to optimize DMM integration, and provide training and resources to members on those strategies and initiatives
  • Assist in milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, briefing preparation and staff coordination, metric assessment, and roadmap development
  • Provide advisory and draft documentation support for the creation of decision documentation
  • Provide support to program briefings, assist in scheduling management, and participate in an advisory role in management reviews and coordination of activities leading to milestone reviews
  • Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining DMM innovation strategies, processes, best practices, and tools
  • Provide technological support to build and adjust dashboards, flows, and other technology-related actions to help drive innovative processes/solutions for the ISR & SOF Directorate


Minimum Experience
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance
Education: High School Diploma
Years of experience: 20 years of experience with 8 supporting the DoD including:

  • Technical enterprise program/project management
  • Development of formal Enterprise System Architectures
  • Experience planning and implementing digital solutions and integration across complex enterprises
  • Experience with developing, implementing, and sustaining enterprise-level Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)

Preferred Experience:
Education and Experience: Master's degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years supporting the DoD OR Bachelor's degree and at least 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years supporting the DoD
