Apogee Engineering is seeking a Program Manager - Technical Data Strategist for a new Digital Materiel Management (DMM) team to help revolutionize the model-based systems, architectural, and data landscape for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance & Special Operations Forces (ISR & SOF) Directorate, located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH.

What you'll be doing:



  • Serve as the Technical Data Strategist for the ISR & SOF Directorate's (WI) Digital Materiel Management (DMM) team
  • Drive integration and assist in shaping the DMM's technical data strategy for the Directorate
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Technical Data Managers, Engineers, and operational users to define, develop and execute strategies that align with WI's organizational and operational requirements
  • Analyze operational mission requirements across the Divisions; identify areas where technical data can add value; collect, organize, and analyze relevant data to craft comprehensive strategies that align with the organization's DMM goals and objectives
  • Serve as an interface between the technical teams and the end users, to optimize operations, create new products, processes, tools, and services, or enhance the end user DMM experience
  • Provide Technical Order Management Agency (TOMA) support
  • Support engineering data acquisition, review, change control, and acquisition sustainment support for assigned weapon system programs as they migrate into Digital Material Management solutions for WI
  • Support 3D model development including the conversion of 2D drawings to 3D models, interpretation, and updating of 3D models
  • Support the sustainment of engineering data to include engineering data management, drafting, 3D model development, Bill of Material (BOM) development, CAD data processing, QA, and repository services


Minimum Experience
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearance
Education: High School Diploma
Years of experience: 20 years of experience with 8 supporting the DoD including:


  • Experience driving integration and shaping technical data strategies across an enterprise
  • Experience developing and implementing 3D models and simulations utilizing tools such as AutoCAD and MATLAB
  • Experience developing, deploying, and sustaining Technical Order Management enterprise processes, systems, and tools


Preferred Experience:
Education and Experience: Master's degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years supporting the DoD OR Bachelor's degree and at least 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years supporting the DoD


  • Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience
