Primary Purpose of Organizational Unit
The offices within the Enrollment Division (Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Office of Scholarships and Student Aid ( OSSA), the Office of the University Registrar, and the Carolina College Advising Corps) focus on increasing the enrollment of outstanding students from North Carolina and beyond, including students who strengthen diversity; meeting the full demonstrated financial need of all undergraduate students who qualify for federal aid; maintaining the integrity of the student record and academic and administrative processes; supporting student success; and providing great care to all who come our way. The work of the Enrollment Division is closely scrutinized by students and their families; by faculty, staff, students, and alumni; by secondary-school teachers and administrators; by lawmakers at the local, state, and national level; and by the media.
Position Summary
The Carolina College Advising Corps ( CCAC) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CCAC administrative support temporary position to support the successful implementation of its college advising program across partner high schools in North Carolina. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization focused on increasing college access and success for underserved students.
The Administrative Support is responsible for supporting CCAC program implementation which includes but is not limited to the following:
Administrative Support Responsibilities:
* Conduct presentations and trainings related to college access designed to promote adviser success within their schools.
* Work closely with CCAC's leadership team to engage with partners to solidify existing partnerships and or create new ones.
* Attend leadership and training meetings.
* Work closely with CCAC's leadership team to develop innovative and effective ways to amplify the work of the Corps - through social, interactive, and electronic media.
* Engage in continuous learning with the team as the program strengthens its efforts to highlight our work and expand our outreach.
* Hours to be scheduled in-person and hybrid during regular office hours (M-F, 8:00-5:00) and will involve occasional in-person attendance at evening /weekend special events.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and an ability to take initiative and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. As a full partner in CCAC's work, the successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to both Carolina and CCAC's mission, a keen interest in the training and support of a diverse and exceptionally talented group of program members, and an ability to work effectively with highly skilled and motivated team members with diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, be able to take initiative and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proven writing ability and oral communication skills to include experience creating presentations.
* Knowledge regarding the Carolina College Advising Corps.
* Interest in supporting and advising recent college graduates.
* Ability to learn new programs and functionalities.
* Ability to successfully work independently and as part of a team - forging collaborative relationships with full-time staff.
* Ability to maintain privacy and work with confidential records.
* Ability to think critically about work and identify new opportunities.
* Have an enthusiasm for collaboration and working with a team.
* Be able to exercise good judgement.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Preference given to candidates with student work and or volunteer experiences in admissions, outreach, education or a related field and or those seeking a graduate/professional degree in Higher Education Administration or relevant graduate/professional field.
