JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Career Services at Penn State Harrisburg, a comprehensive College of The Pennsylvania State University, is excited to welcome applications for a Career Counselor position. The Career Counselor will be crucial in personalizing the career student support while working strategically with faculty and staff at the academic schools and relevant employers to foster student success. IMPORTANT: This is a 10-month full-time position with a reduced FTE schedule (HR 105 policy). 11 months may be considered.Career Services at Penn State Harrisburg is supportive of flexible work arrangements (HR 107 policy) when aligned with the ability to meet the needs of the unit and the essential duties of the position. The position can also be considered as a reduced work week. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process. Education and Experience: This position will be filled as a Career Services Specialist at the level of Intermediate or Advanced Professional, depending on the final applicant's experience and education. The Intermediate level requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional education and/or experience are required for higher-level positions.
