Description of Task to be Performed: AnaVation is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team and support our mission critical customer in Reston, VA. As our Systems Administrator you will maintain and fully support AWS cloud capabilities for hosting cybersecurity tools and databases and administer and maintain current capabilities and technology stacks, including patching and upgrades to all services and technologies. The Systems Administrator will also provide technical support to program team and service users, including the support of PKI integration of web-enabled community portal, and any SharePoint administration not already supported through a designated SharePoint Designer. Other responsibilities include Providing technical support to the on-premise data transfer hub, supporting engineers in creating technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) and configuring cloud monitoring dashboards and alerting. Required Qualifications: Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph Education & Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience related to specific functional area Certifications: Currently hold, or be able to attain a IAT II and IAT CSSP Infrastructure certification or equivalent (CompTIA CySA+) Experience and knowledge on: Working collaboratively across cross-functional teams of all experience levels Supporting classified cloud computer systems supporting Intelligence Community customers. Monitoring and managing system resources, including CPU, storage, and other cloud resources to maintain operating efficiency performance. Performing systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts. Experience setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating resources for database and other application hosting. Experience with backup, restore, and testing of database and systems.
