Job Description: The Weld Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing welding processes and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding technology and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve welding-related issues. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop welding processes and procedures
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve welding-related issues
- Perform welding inspections and tests to ensure quality standards are met
- Train and mentor welding technicians and operators
- Develop and maintain welding documentation and records
- Stay up-to-date with the latest welding technology and techniques
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding engineering
- Strong knowledge of welding technology and techniques
- Experience with welding inspection and testing
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
