Description

The Parking and Commuter Services Operations Assistant is responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the department. This includes assisting administrative support, transportation coordination, customer service and management the MBTA monthly passes and the management of the ID operation.

The Operations Assistant will train employees and manage ID operations ensuring that all staff are properly trained and adhere to department policies

and procedures.

Maintain parking records, including issuing, and managing parking permits, maintaining accurate records of assignments of on-site and off-site parking.

Coordinate transportation and parking services with other hospital departments as well as the Longwood Collective to ensure efficient parking and

transportation services.

Manage the monthly MBTA passes including distribution, tracking and record keeping.

Assist in parking enforcement, including keeping records and reporting violators.

Provide customer service for employees and contractors.

Manage and maintain data entry, record keeping and report preparation of parking.

Provide customer service to all hospital employees, students, and contractors.

Assist with maintenance, repair and billing of all items related to parking equipment and parking facilities to include proper signage, garage cleaning and

painting as necessary.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

2-3 years of experience in customer service or parking administrative role.

Strong Communications and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database, and parking management

Some knowledge of parking regulations and transportation laws
