Job Description

Job Summary: The Reporting & Analytics Product Lead has responsibility for identifying product solutions within numerous data sets and has the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for Needham Bank. He/she will work closely with product leaders across multiple business units to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. They will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for the analytics team to follow. Accountabilities include supervision and participation in the development and maintenance of reports and departmental data workflow processes across multiple sources of data in the Bank. Dashboards/Reports will be prepared and scheduled for direct access, monthly generation or produced on an ad hoc basis. This position requires high degree of data quality, technological report preparation and delivery and communication with diverse management team to meet strategic reporting objectives. Business focus with Financial (bank loan and deposit) reporting required. This position requires ability to analyze, integrate and build strategic product reports for all aspects of key product performance indicators across a wide and diverse spectrum of constituents to meet and exceed expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Leveraging data to help drive decisions that improve product performance.
  • Deliver product analysis to make recommendations provide launch strategies to increase profitability.
  • Beginning-to-end responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of all reporting-related deliverables.
  • Cross-train, develop and mentor analyst-level employees.
  • Oversee the data/reporting requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
  • Drive successful completion of all reports and deliver analytical insights to business partners through effective collaboration with key stakeholders and analysts.
  • Examine, interpret, and report the results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership.
  • Set the vision for measurement, reporting, and analytics across the line of business for which the candidate is responsible.
  • Support and drive the client "test and learn" philosophy for change and success measurement.
  • Inspire team and stakeholders to generate and deliver powerful insights and fresh thinking.
  • Present regular reports to Senior Management regarding the Bank's loan and deposit portfolios.
  • Create and provide product reports upon request for users throughout the organization.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to managers regarding portfolio risk management matters.
  • Strong attention to detail, high degree of accuracy, aptitude for efficiency and solid sense of timeliness; it is expected that complete and accurate reports will be produced in accordance with the required schedule.
  • Provide input and guidance regarding the Bank's products, investments and strategic decisions.
  • Objectively performs complex quantitative and qualitative analyses to assess operational performance Understand business impact of performance statistics and recommend improvement strategies.
  • Manage new projects and systems including but not limited to writing technical requirements, performing gap analysis, user acceptance testing and provide guidance as subject matter expert as it pertains to business units to ensure quality customer and team member experience.

Experience and Skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field or equivalent experience or banking education.
  • Five years or more of product analytics experience; 4 or more years of related experience such MIS, Business Reporting and/or consulting preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Tableau and SQL preferred.
  • Solid analytical ability, strong project management skills, creative solving ability, advanced written and oral communication and the capacity to perform assignments with proficiency and limited supervision.
  • A working knowledge of bank operations or relevant operations and/or systems development experience.
