JOB SUMMARY: This position assists in ensuring the Company complies with its obligations as a publicly traded company. In doing so, the incumbent will provide counsel and support to management and business owners throughout the finance, accounting, and investor relations functions (among others) by identifyingriskandofferingalternativebusinesssolutionstomitigatepotentialrisks. JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB SCOPE: This individual works independently under minimal supervision and with considerable discretion to make decisions that affect day-to-day operations within the Company. The incumbent applies comprehensive knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures to complete job responsibilities. The incumbent acts as a resource for Senior Counsels, Associate Counsels, Assistant Counsels, Paralegals, and other Legal Department staff as well as other Company departments. Work requires basing decisions on sound logic and rationale; advancing problems or issues toward resolution when encountering ambiguity or uncertainty; choosing the best alternative based on consideration of pros, cons, tradeoffs, timing and available resources; and making timely decisions on problems and issues requiring immediate attention; and making sound decisions on complex functional issues and problems. An incumbent may have direct subordinates but will generally provide work direction to others who do not directly report to this job. COMPENSATION The salary range for this position is $170-190K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity. |
