Description

Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Limited Energy Class A Technician to join our security business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:




  • Installs and repairs electrical wiring, cameras, systems, and fixtures in buildings

  • Installs low voltage electrical hardware and connects wiring to them.

  • Tests electrical security systems to ensure proper installation and operation

  • Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed

  • Installs conduits and pulls low voltage cable

  • Trims out security devices

  • Replaces conduit and wiring as needed

  • Ensures piping complies with electrical codes

  • Performs other related duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Ability to read and understand

  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring

  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools

  • Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • The ability to travel for work and stay overnight if needed

  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid Limited Energy Class A license is required

  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
