The School of Sociology at the University of Arizona seeks a non-tenure track Limited Term Adjunct Instructor to provide part time instruction for the Spring 2025 semester. Looking for expertise in instruction in the Sociology of Aging and the social sciences. The School of Sociology at the University of Arizona houses a highly ranked Ph.D. program in Sociology, a BA in Sociology, a BS in Care, Health, and Society, a minor in Criminology, and contributes courses to the Sports and Society track in the Bachelor of General Studies. Duties & Responsibilities |
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and advertising course(s)
- Instructing students in the field of expertise
- Planning class lectures and assignments
- Assigning projects
- Grading papers and exams

Minimum Qualifications |
- Master's degree in relevant discipline.
|
Preferred Qualifications |
- PhD with area of Sociology of Aging and the Social Sciences.

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report |
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University's campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
