This is a Monday-Friday position out of our 38th and Sheridan location (address is 6130 E. 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46226 ). The general salary range for the position is $44-$55K and includes full benefits (below). The Supervisor, Quality Assurance is responsible for understanding and adhering to the Quality Management System (QMS) under ISO 13485:2016 requirements and overseeing the daily quality control procedures in the production and assembly area. Duties include monitoring production and product quality; conducting internal audits of each area; training management and hourly employees in QMS and ISO procedures; assisting new project start-ups; and gathering/analyzing data in support of product quality. The supervisor oversees 10-12 hourly inspectors and works closely with all members of management to ensure ongoing compliance and customer service. This role supports the continuous improvement activities in the plant operations and is responsible for records and document controls. Example Duties and Activities
Consistently adheres to the Quality Management System (QMS) to promote compliance with the ISO requirements. This includes leading by example with all good documentation practices, plus working with all areas to establish the necessary site-level instructions and practices that meet the Policies and Procedures. Provides the leadership and training necessary to engage all employees in daily compliance to the QMS and its practices. Provides leadership and training to the quality inspectors and/or operators in carrying out their responsibilities related to product quality. Conducts meetings to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives and determine effectiveness of the program. Works with overall management to gather and analyze inspection results and assist in determining courses of action for continual improvement. Conducts internal audits and establishes a team for internal auditing. Promotes adherence to the QMS Policies, Procedures and records required to ensure compliance with ISO standards. Records all data and information as required and provides analysis and recommendations for improvement.
