TEST ENGINEER (RAPTOR AVIONICS) The Raptor Avionics team is responsible for delivering all electrical control and sensing hardware for the world's most advanced rocket engine. As the Raptor AVI Test Engineer, you will be the last line of defense against faulty hardware resulting from process escapes or design shortcomings. Raptor AVI is looking for an engineer to take responsibility for ensuring all AVI hardware that flies it built to highest of standards. In order to accomplish this they will interface with, and leverage the resources of, various test organizations around SpaceX including the Components Test Engineers in Hawthorne, Integration Engineers in McGregor, and Flight Ops Engineers in Starbase. This person will define test requirements, design test process flows, and perform data analysis to steer the factory toward delivering an increasingly better avionics suite. The nature of this position requires someone interested in working in a multidisciplinary organization with a range of technologies including electronics, high-pressure hardware, and electromechanical actuators. Additionally, this person must have a strong desire to apply data analytics to drive continuous improvement across the organization. It is not expected that the candidate know all of the above, but they must have the aptitude to become proficient in each skill throughout the course of their career. RESPONSIBILITIES:

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Pay range: Level I: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00/per year Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock, stock options, or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
