Responsibilities
How you will contribute to our National Security and Defense mission: MTSI is looking for an All-Source Intelligence Analyst to provide Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) support to the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC). In this role, you will use your experience using various forms of data collection, including GEOINT, SIGINT, IMINT, and OSINT to characterize capabilities of systems, subsystem, and components of missile systems. You will interact daily with Government and industry partners in the missile and space domain supporting Department of Defense (DOD) and Intelligence Community (IC) customers. This position is located in the Huntsville, AL area. You'll be a great fit for this role if:

Responsibilities: Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Performs all-source analysis to provide predictive and actionable intelligence.
- Assesses the capabilities, limitations, and vulnerabilities of foreign long-range, land-based ballistic missiles, and their associated operations, ground support equipment (GSE) and facilities.
- Coordinates with senior leadership to develop analysis plans that address Key Intelligence Questions (KIQ).
- Reports progress, seeks feedback, and submits products for review.
- Authors Finished Intelligence (FINTEL) reports.
- Supports briefings, tours, ad-hoc tasks, working groups, conferences, and other relevant forums, as required.
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong research and technical writing skills.
- Experience conducting research on a wide variety of topics, to render concise analytic conclusions.
- Familiarity working with agencies and partners of the Department of Defense (DoD) and/or the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Ability to work independently planning, coordinating, and executing work, at times with little oversight and guidance, as part of a larger team comprised of civilian and military personnel.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
- Strong skills communicating complex technical issues and in providing comprehensive written, oral and/or digital products (including document organization and technical writing).
- Strong analytic skills and the ability to apply these skills in a multi-tasking environment on one or more projects at a given time (typically one primary project and one or two ancillary projects).
- The candidate must be located in or willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in relevant scientific or technical discipline and 5+ years; experience, or a Master's degree plus 3+ years of job-related experience.
Even better if you have these desired skills:
- Knowledgeable in Intelligence Community (IC) analytic standards and publishing workflows.
- Familiarity or working knowledge of the six basic intelligence sources, or collection disciplines: SIGINT, IMINT, MASINT, HUMINT, OSINT, and GEOINT.
- Basic understanding of ballistic missile concepts, operations, sub-systems, and employment techniques.
- Understanding of foreign and/or domestic weapons systems.
