Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Project Manager with our client in the financial industry located in Newark, DE. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined deliverables which usually requires engagement from multiple teams such as a project or smaller program Communicating the work objectives, coordinating delivery, managing risks, ensuring compliance to standards, and providing end-to-end visibility into the health of the deliverables Ensure execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of the functionality, quality, timeline, and cost. They facilitate sync points across multiple organizations Act as an end-to-end project manager that creates detailed project plans and delivers against them Manage and coordinate resources within and across organizations and has matrix management responsibilities Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders Manage a product backlog of Epics/features that need to be delivered Mitigate roadblocks for technical team, including appropriate escalation, as needed Contributes to test planning and participates in test case reviews and makes necessary updates Work with technical teams to mine for data to support test scripts Support SIT/UAT testing efforts by addressing defects raised by the testers/monitor ALM Develop implementation plans, coverage schedules, and arranges validation efforts Ensure Change Management deliverables like PTO/PTB/PTS are completed Perform technical validation during production installs Drive resolution of any post install defects with production support, LOB, and project team Provide support for production, to include problem analysis, resolution assistance, and tracking Contribute to the timely completion of Application Governance & GIS deliverables Able to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative manner Self-motivated and quick learner who can take the full ownership of assignments/projects Confirm to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities Requirements: 5-7 years direct work experience in a project leadership capacity University degree or college diploma in the field of Business or Technology Business Banking domain experience preferred Experienced working in a SAFe Agile environment Understanding of Change Management practices and principles Technically competent with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Project, and Visio Strong written and oral communication skills Basic working knowledge of JIRA Pay Range: $52.10 - $60.10 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
