Overview Now hiring a HIM Lead Medical Records With minimal supervision, organizes, distributes, prioritizes work flow; supports, trains, orients staff within the Health Information Management department. Ensures quality and accuracy in record processing and completion using Horizon Patient Folder. Assists team with monitoring chart deficiencies in accordance with PHS policies, JCAHO, CMS and Medical Staff Rules and Regulations. Constant monitoring of prepping, scanning, indexing and quality analysis to ensure quality and quantity of work meets performance level expectations. Identifies and assists with the integrity of suspension process as well as coordinating the warning/suspension notifications. Communicate organizational information; model expected performance levels and appropriate behaviors and facilitate employee work performance through adequate support and training. Ideal Candidate: Two to four years relevant experience, with at least two years experience working in Health Information Management, acute care hospital environment required. Must be proficient in all areas the Health Information Department Qualifications High School graduate, (G.E.D.) is required. Associates degree or 2- 3 years post-secondary education required but experience in lieu of education may be substituted in accordance with organizational practice. Responsibilities
