ROLE OVERVIEW

In this role as a Producer, you'll use your experience to bridge ideas and reality to create breakthrough creative work concentrating on quarterly and reactive workstreams, while support activations in a training capacity. You'll collaborate with creative teams and project managers to source solutions and plan the creation of content. You'll learn to grow and use a network of partners and suppliers to create work that's better than what's already been done, or to help identify how to do what has never been done before, with support from producers, sr. producers and the executive producer. You and your team will find ways to make great content and experiences at the speed of culture.

Primary Responsibilities

  • ASSISTING/LEARNING PRODUCTION SCOPING: You will be supported in scoping ideas during the creative process to help manage and shape the idea during development. Particularly, you'll be working on reactive and quarterly content and ramping up knowledge on how to produce for an activation.

  • PRODUCTION PLANNING: You communicate clearly to suppliers and other creators to find ways to plan and execute a range of ideas within quarterly and reactive content. You will be supported in finding and sourcing partners and experts who can help you make just about anything come to life.

  • SMALL SHOOT MANAGEMENT AND ASSISTANCE: You will leverage the experience of producers to help plan and execute a range of shoots & projects from smaller scale content shoots (social posts) to medium scale photography and sound recording sessions. You understand how to run a production schedule and manage creators on site, with support from producers as necessary.

  • EVENT MANAGEMENT: You are responsible for organizing and managing small-scale, social -led events, from planning to execution. This includes venue selection, vendor management, logistics planning, and on-site coordination.

  • ENTRY TO CLIENT MANAGEMENT: You will learn to build pre-production presentations that anticipate brand partner feedback and proactively address concerns.

  • BUDGET MANAGEMENT: You will manage the costs and processes involved with a small and medium budget productions, preventing scope creep and cost-overruns.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 5+ years of experience in a production department at a traditional, social, or experiential agency that produces social content.

  • A proven track record of organization and multitasking skills with a strong interest in production.

  • A university or college diploma, or other education related to content production.

  • A history of being able to work with creative teams.

  • A general understanding of the tenants of production & understanding of project types including social content & assets, campaign production, video, motion graphics and digital banners. A curiosity in experiential production and event management is a plus.

  • A familiarity of vendor procurement and management and assessing overall quality of work with multiple deliverables and multiple workstreams.

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of USA and Canada Entertainment Laws.

  • Experience in partnering and developing relationships with non-traditional production vendors.

  • An understanding in the importance of project management and client/agency structure

  • You have experience working with suppliers, technology partners, directors, and other skilled creators. You will learn alongside producers how to quickly grow your database of partners and suppliers.

  • An understanding of managing expense, paying invoices, and financial processes. With experience in invoice tracking and payments.

  • A curiosity to improve and learn presentations skills and communication skills in a group environment.

  • A passion for food and food marketing.

  • A desire to do create thumb stopping content!
