Full-Time | Cubic Defense

Are you passionate about developing cutting-edge systems that help military and security forces train like they fight? Do you thrive in dynamic environments where innovation and collaboration are key? Join our Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) team at Cubic Defense and play a critical role in enhancing mission readiness for our global customers.

Who We Are

At Cubic Defense, we specialize in providing comprehensive ground combat training systems and solutions that elevate human performance and readiness. Our advanced training technologies integrate real-time data collection, feedback, and operational support to create realistic battlefield environments, enabling military forces to "train as they fight." Through our Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) solutions, we help individuals and teams achieve peak performance in the most demanding conditions.

What You'll Do

As a Systems Engineer, you'll be a key player in designing and developing innovative training solutions for military applications. You'll apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes to medium-sized projects, driving the development of training systems that simulate real-world combat scenarios. Working alongside project managers and senior engineers, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that systems meet technical, schedule, and cost requirements. Your role will also involve interfacing with customers, troubleshooting, and conducting design reviews.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop systems and subsystems using MBSE to support ground combat training efforts.
  • Assist in defining system architectures, conducting trade studies, and overseeing system integration.
  • Collaborate with project managers to manage technical tasks within schedule and budget constraints.
  • Interface with internal and external customers to provide technical support and status updates.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams using tools like Jira and P6 Primavera.
  • Monitor project performance using Earned Value Metrics (EVM) and act as a Cost Account Manager (CAM).
  • Conduct major design reviews and provide real-time solutions to technical challenges.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support project requirements.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in system design, integration, and engineering development, or a Master's degree in a related technical discipline.
  • Strong understanding of MBSE principles and experience applying them to real-world projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and traditional waterfall milestones.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required, and the ability to obtain a security clearance, if required.
  • Certification in Systems Engineering (desired).

Apply today and help shape the future of ground combat training!
