Supply Chain Manager - Drive Products

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is onsite/hybrid in New Berlin, Wisconsin
Please note that no relocation assistance or stipend will be offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location. Candidates are expected to manage their own commuting arrangements.
This role is contributing to the Motion business, Drive Products Division, Supply Chain Management function
You will be mainly accountable for:
*Collaborating with various teams to support ABB's operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines.
*Learn Category Management skills including supplier selection/qualification, pricing, contract negotiation, approved source list
*You will evaluate and implement the next generation, best fit, financial, and business process solutions for a subset of our Vendor Managed Inventory.
*Work directly with suppliers to complete end to end visibility including Forecasting, acknowledgement, stock levels with suppliers using several different electronic and data tools including EDI, SAP, BI
*Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts.
*Seeking feedback and guidance from manager and team members to improve performance and skills.
*Familiarity and comfort using SAP, Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Power Business Intelligence (PBI), data transfer tools: EDI, Flat files, cloud transfer, other point to point software
Ideally, the candidate would be available for part-time employment from January 2025 to April 2025, with the possibility of extending the role into the summer.

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or Economics/Finance in the United States.
• Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress

The hourly rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications, graduation year and experience. This position is expected to pay between $20 - $34 per hour.
