Department OverviewWith over 20 Billion rows of license plate and geospatial data, Digital Recognition Network (http://drndata.com) is a fast-growing License Plate Recognition Data company that is looking for a Project Manager to help execute on the backlog of commercial products. The company's image capture and analysis platform, which includes fixed and mobile license plate reader cameras driven by machine learning and artificial intelligence, provides vehicle location data to public safety and commercial customers. Acquired by Motorola Solutions in January 2019, this new product offering will expand the Motorola Solutions command center software portfolio with the largest shareable database of vehicle location information that can help shorten response times and improve the speed and accuracy of investigations. Job Description

Responsible for developing and maintaining a big-picture vision and roadmap that supports the strategic goals for DRN & MVTRAC business units and their solutions. Validate and develop ideas based on industry experience and contact with customers and stakeholders. Must possess a blend of business and technical skills. Must enjoy spending time in the market to understand the customers' needs.

  • Collaborate with Developers to ensure operational and maintenance release commitments are fulfilled

  • Conduct analysis of the functionality and interconnections of business needs, understanding end-to-end process flow, to recommend solutions that create a seamless experience across multiple platforms.

  • Drive user story generation for complex and interconnected capabilities across business and technology teams to support a healthy backlog of capability development within DRN's network

  • Provide, analyze, recommend, negotiate, and direct work as subject matter expert on complex, technical issues.

  • Identify potential new and improved technical directions, develop strategic options/ approaches to recommend to product management.

  • Work closely with the Product Managers and Developers to ensure complex business requirements are accurately documented.

  • Ensure adherence to Change Management and Release Management processes.

  • Work closely with the Business units and Developers to create, identify, and evaluate deliverables such as user stories, business process models, user manuals, test plans and test results, as well as release plans.

  • Utilize advanced analytics to frame complex issues/ problems, develop multiple creative solution option(s), perform tradeoff analysis, identify impact of various alternative solutions, and leverage subject matter expertise to ensure a sound technical solution.

  • Explain complex application functionality in a manner that can be understood, articulate ideas and solutions to influence others toward a desired outcome or solution; answer technical questions to support the case.

  • Participate in performing training needs analysis.

  • Champion your own career through self-development plans; actively soliciting coaching and feedback, and participating in internal and external development opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering
  • 5+ years' work experience with Auto Finance
  • 3+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer facing digital products
  • 3+ years of experience working on core product platforms powering digital experiences
  • 3+ years working with cross functional teams as a project manager in an agile development process
  • 3+ years of experience managing moderate to high complexity projects and programs
  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

This position is a remote position and candidates can be located anywhere in the US.

If residing outside of Dallas/Fort Worth, TX Metroplex, candidates must be able to travel, at minimum, on a quarterly basis to Fort Worth office.

  • Bachelor's degree AND 3+ years of Project Management, Product Analyst or Product Owner experience

  • 7+ years of Project Management, Product Analyst or Product Owner experience
