Essential Functions:

Overview:

  • Lead the organization (people, sales, marketing, real-estate, and field operations) in defined market geography - with key objectives to drive asset and revenue growth, coordinate business development, deliver on revenue and profit targets and cultivate a culture which ensures an industry leading media company
  • Set a comprehensive vision coupled with a market assets and revenue sales strategy to deliver sustainable business/revenue growth
  • Manage overall P&L including budgeting, target setting, analysis and monitoring of ongoing performance
  • Ensure all business policies and practices are followed to the highest standard
  • Share and leverage best practice across the regional and company
  • Embrace and communicate company messaging to team

People:

  • Recruit, train and motivate the management team and key executives
  • Build a leadership team of direct reports and create an inspirational culture
  • Manage workforce with high integrity.
  • Provide leadership and direct the efforts of all OUTFRONT Media personnel within the covered markets in a way that creates a winning team environment
  • Coach and develop sales managers and key account executives; manage performance by objectives with consistent reporting and review of performance
  • Oversee and direct annual performance appraisal process. Ensure process includes input and coordination on technical and other components from dotted line managers and business partners.
  • Set and drive inspiring culture in line with company goals

Assets:

  • Guide real-estate development efforts and sales/market preparations for: renewal of assets, at risk assets and development of new properties
  • Closely collaborate with National Real Estate (National RE Group ) to effectively manage OUTFRONT assets
  • Review with local RE Representatives, on a periodic basis, the pipeline of asset development opportunities, the status of lease renewals/extensions, and financial impacts/targets on renewals
  • Approve all lease renewals and new assets (owned and leased) within the market area
  • Oversee and direct annual performance reviews for the field team including providing and capturing input and coordination on technical components with Centers of Excellence business partners
  • Manage RE KPIs for market

Revenue:

  • Sets sales strategy for sustainable growth >5%
  • Coach and oversee sales managers to develop sales and pricing strategies to maximize asset yields
  • Build external profile for profitable relationships and with key customers and industry
  • Review and monitor ongoing revenue performance against goals and set course correction when needed
  • Set, manage and maximize pricing yield for market assets
  • With the Sales Manager, represent the market to National clients and partner with the national sales team to drive in market and overall company revenues

Costs:

  • Manage and monitor costs in line with the budget and set corrective actions when needed
  • Deploy costs effectively to ensure returns in line with company targets
  • Act like an owner when making cost decisions

Operations:

  • Work closely with Field Operations Directors to coordinate operational costs and service levels across market area; Coordinate activities through well-structured weekly Sales and Ops (S&OP) meetings
  • Provide guidance to set local market ops performance targets, help define and maintain standards and practices for labor management, posting and rotation

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • 7+ years proven industry experience
  • 15+ years general management and leadership experience
  • Ability to grow top & bottom line financial metrics consistently
  • Media industry, digital media experience, real estate development, sales and marketing experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation and influencing skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Possess strong client facing and networking skills
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated experiences in developing teams and achieving results
  • Must be multi-task oriented and able to communicate clearly, comprehensively and with complete personal and professional integrity
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

The salary range for this role is $275,000-$350,000 per year.This role is also eligible for incentive compensation. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate's experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position.
