Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $62,300 - Midpoint: $81,000 (Salaried E10)

Department/Organization: 200621 - University Registrar

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm

Job Summary: The Assistant University Registrar oversees the operational activities of a specific area within the Office of the University Registrar.

Additional Department Summary: This position will have oversight responsibility for The University's course inventory management system, core curriculum review system, program and curriculum management system, undergraduate and graduate catalogs, classroom and event scheduling in academic space, and the creation and online publication of the semester schedule of classes. This position provides ongoing training and support to members of the University community on technology used by the Office of the University Registrar including, but not limited to Ellucian Banner and Banner Workflow, Astra Schedule by Ad Astra, Leepfrog Technologies' CourseLeaf suite of software.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of experience in a higher education setting working with student academic records and related institutional policies; OR master's degree and four (4) years of experience in a higher education setting working with student academic records and related institutional policies.

Skills and Knowledge: Strong project management skills. Excellent organizational and planning skills. Ability to exercise sound professional judgement in the application of approved University policies, guidelines, and strategic goals to the various areas of oversight associated with this position. Ability to think creatively in order to develop and apply innovative solutions as needed. Superior oral and written communications skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Customer service orientation philosophy. Competency in the use of personal computers including word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a major academic institutional setting in a registrar's office. Experience with catalog/curriculum management, academic scheduling, and/or experience dealing with student academic records. Bachelor's and/or master's degree from a regionally accredited institution preferred. One year of management/supervisory work experience also preferred.
