Exciting opportunity in our Catalyst Operations Group, located in Louisville, KY where you will bring your ability to successfully manage transfer projects at the interface between R&D, Supply Chain, and production. You will lead a project team to scale up or transfer products to safeguarding quality and required volumes while adapting to changing priorities and delivering results on tight timelines.

Responsibilities



  • You will Lead complex, cross-regional transfer projects (site to site, new/custom products) to commercial production, provide technical input to project managers and plant engineers responsible for CAPEX projects.
  • Ensure adherence to the Product Transfer process with all required documentation and conducts the project handover to operations. Plan, execute, coordinate and document plant trials and present results to stakeholders.
  • Responsible for coordinating interactions between R&D, piloting, scheduling, and production related to own projects.
  • Develop concepts for production of new products and evaluate technical feasibility in production lines, apply expertise in the field of process design and scale-up of catalyst production.
  • Understands production capabilities within region and at local production site.
  • Compile required information (e.g. BOM, yield, bulk/PPC codes) for implementation of new products into SAP.
  • Act as operations partner and fulfil corresponding duties within assigned projects.
  • You will initiate and perform risk analysis and safeguard implementation for new products and process changes.



Requirements



  • Seeking a Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering technology or equivalent
  • You should have (>3) years of experience in production, product development (R&D), and/or catalyst scale-up.
  • Technical expertise and experience in scale up from lab to commercial production is highly desired.
  • Experience in project management and managing professional staff without having functional responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral is a must.
  • You should have solid computer and presentation skills including experience with MS Office Suite, SAP experience is a plus.
