About this role:

The Principal Analyst, Investor Relations, provides analytical and reporting support to the Investor Relations team and senior management, while also providing financial information to external parties, including Wall Street analysts and investors. The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with wide-ranging experience and expertise in the finance and accounting field, with basic understanding of Wall Street roles and functions. The successful candidate will apply comprehensive knowledge of finance and accounting skills to resolve complex issues.

Your responsibilities will include:




  • Partneracross the organization (divisional and regional teams, Corporate FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Accounting, and others as necessary) to ensure timeliness, accuracy,and completeness of financial information and general business results for compilation into earnings conference calls, investor conference presentations, responses to investor questions, and responses to other requests for information
  • Performdetailed modeling to track Wall Street consensus estimates versus internal Boston Scientific targets
  • Leveragedata and external partnerships to provide a quarterly update to senior leadership on stock ownership and targeting activities
  • Usein-depth knowledge of business unit functions and cross group dependencies/relationships to best position Boston Scientific externally in communications with Wall Street analysts and investors
  • Help create presentations and talking points for senior management, both to internal and external audiences
  • Respondto external requests for information from Wall Street analysts and investors
  • Partnerwith corporate ESG team to develop and review external messaging and communications
  • Providead hoc analysis and information to senior management (e.g., commentary on stock trading activity, competitor stock trading activity, etc.)



Required qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in finance/accounting role or relevant business role
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and financial acumen
  • Must be able to work well in a complex, highly-matrixed worldwide organization and be able to simplify that matrix for communication and analytical purposes
  • Proactive, self-starter, results-oriented, and big picture vision



Preferred Qualifications:




  • Full knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Experience with Bloomberg and/or FactSet
  • Experience with Hyperion planning systems
