Job Description

PCI is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for its Cleanroom Contracting Group based out of our PCI New England operations located in Holliston, MA. This individual will be responsible for developing new customers, maintaining current customers, selling our services at the A&E and Ownership level, in addition to CMs &GC's. The positions main territorial responsibilities will be to support the New England and Philadelphia markets as well as minor support in Washington DC and Albany Business operations. Time will be evenly split between Philadelphia and Boston. This position will also help in the other territories in the country as deemed necessary to support the company. Other responsibilities include:

    Being capable of selling all aspects of the company.
  • Assisting in training and mentoring of staff.
  • Helping prepare business marketing data.
  • Research new products and market opportunities.
  • Participate in the annual business planning process.
  • Provide monthly status and activity reports.
  • Participate in the bidding and strategy process for cleanroom opportunities.
  • Attend Expos, Workshops, Charity events (industry specific), Conferences, etc.
  • Work with Corporate Marketing Department to development of marketing materials specific to the Cleanroom Contracting Group.
  • Work with Corporate Marketing Department to improve the PCG Cleanroom Website.


Requirements

Basic Requirements:

  • At least 5 years professional work experience with business development skills, with a preference in the Life Science and Pharmaceutical Markets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Business/Marketing or related field, or comparable work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to different branch locations and job sites up to 60% of the year, is required. Majority of time will be split between the Philadelphia and New England markets.
  • Ability to create instant credibility, generate interest and articulate PCI's value proposition.
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Superb customer service skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Ability to use multiple lead generation tools such as LinkedIn and other online tools.
