Position Summary |
Are you passionate about working with student-athletes and fostering their growth on and off the field? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Athletic Trainer to join our team and significantly impact our athletic programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate and build positive rapport with college-level student-athletes, coaches, and physicians.
- Follow all state practicing regulations and adhere to guidelines set forth by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
- Ensure compliance with all NCAA and CIAA rules and regulations.
- Assist with all team sports and camps, overseeing team conditioning and training.
- Provide coverage for other sporting events as needed.
- Demonstrate self-accountability and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
- Teach 6 credit hours in our Health, Physical Education, and Exercise Science (HPSS) Department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Health, Physical Education, Exercise Science, or a related field.
- A Master's degree in a related field is required for the teaching component.
- At least 1 year of athletic training experience.
- Ability to teach and mentor student interns.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with other healthcare and medical professionals.
- Current CPR/First Aid/ED certification.
NATABOC certification.- Eligibility for state licensure by the North Carolina Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in athletic training, health, physical education, exercise science, or a related field.
The candidate must be able to effectively communicate and build a positive rapport with college-level student-athletes, coaches, and physicians.
