POSITION SUMMARY:

Prepares and processes cytological specimens, screens and interprets findings under the direction of a pathologist according to regulatory standards. Performs FISH and HPV molecular testing.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree or higher required and CT(ASCP) certified or eligible required.

EXPERIENCE:
Five years relevant experience preferred.

Ability to perform work accurately and pay attention to details, frequently changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure. Ability to function competently in a changing work environment. Ability to work cooperatively within the health-system and with multidisciplinary team members. Ability to utilize effective time management to set priorities, perform job related responsibilities. Ability to use critical thinking skills to effectively problem-solve and deliver service.
