Overview

The Make Ready Coordinator is essential in maintaining high-quality living conditions for current and future residents and ensuring minimal vacancy downtime. This role involves working with maintenance teams, scheduling vendors, conducting and documenting pre/post inspections, and performing quality control walks to ensure all units are move-in ready.



Responsibilities

    Ensure pre-inspections for units are completed as scheduled to identify any maintenance or readiness issues prior to move-out.
  • Ensure all units meet RMR Residential readiness standards, including cleanliness, functionality, and aesthetic quality.
  • Conduct quality control walks to verify that homes are fully prepared for new residents and all standards are met.
  • Ensure schedules are followed and necessary updates are communicated to Community Services team.
  • After inspections, work with vendor partners and the on-site team to promptly address deficiencies and bring homes up to readiness standards.
  • Partner with Maintenance Services team to complete required make-ready work as scheduled to ensure timely turnover of units.
  • Complete move-out inspections, ensuring all work is tracked and documented.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tasks, repairs, and vendor activities. Complies with all Company National Standards, applicable health and safety rules and regulations, and applicable local, state, and federal laws.
  • Other duties may be assigned as need by supervisor


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience in multifamily property management, maintenance coordination, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of general maintenance practices and ability to identify service needs.
  • Familiarity with scheduling and coordinating tasks.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite is desirable.
  • Comprehension of federal fair housing laws and any applicable local housing provisions.
