Overview
RTI International is seeking a full-time Finance and Operations Associate to support the Department of Defense HIV/AIDS Prevention Program (DHAPP). DHAPP implements the US President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) among foreign militaries. DHAPP's mission is to build capable military partners through military-specific, culturally focused, HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment programs. RTI International supports the client DHAPP and its mission in San Diego, CA and Washington, D.C. The DHAPP headquarters office is located at Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego, CA. The client office is a fast-paced environment, with complex processes. The ideal candidate must be operations-oriented, organized, and able to excel within the bureaucratic limitations of government systems. The Finance and Operations Associate supports the mission of HIV prevention and treatment around the globe, by being an Excel wizard and avid learner. Additional Information: This position may require working on tight deadlines when necessary and some early morning work due to external partnerships that require collaboration with Washington, DC, and U.S. Embassies primarily located in Africa. Direct supervision is received from the DHAPP Branch Chief for Fiscal and Budget Operations. This position requires the ability to work on site weekly in Point Loma, CA, with a hybrid telework schedule. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
