Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers provides care to half of the cancer patients in the state of Colorado. The imaging department is an integral part of this care. We look forward to hearing what you have to offer our patients and how you want to join our staff of heroes. RMCC has an exciting opportunity for an experienced PRN CT Technologist to join our team. This position may be scheduled at our Littleton, Aurora, Boulder, Thornton or Denver (Midtown) clinics. This is a PRN position but offers the opportunity to get your foot in the door with a great organization. PRN shifts opportunities may be available to you at any of the sites. Responsibilities -Performs CT procedures as ordered achieving a high level of quality. Offers expertise to physicians regarding appropriateness of additional/modified studies, etc. -Escorts patients to treatment room. Assists with dressings as necessary. Completes all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of CT services. Logs radiologic procedures completed. Processes routine paperwork. -Provides protection for patient and self in accordance with prescribed safety standards. -Ensures the safety and physical comfort of the patient while in technologists care. Conducts daily quality control measures to monitor machine performance. -Reports all malfunctions and/or need for adjustments to the proper company or facility. -Follows prescribed safety standards in operating equipment. Maintains confidentially of all information related to patients and medical staff. Qualifications Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited school. Minimum thee years experience as a CT Technologist. Certification as a registered radiologic technologist (ARRT) required. Current IV and CPR certifications required. Certification in CT strongly preferred. $31.00 -$45.00 Candidates will be required to show proof of being vaccinated against influenza upon commencing employment.
