Overview

Regional Cancer Care Associates (RCCA) is looking for an exceptional Charge Capture Coordinator to join the team. This position assists with company internal audit activities including review of the individual offices monthly charge analysis reports and assists office staff with the reconciliation of those reports. Reviews and compares posted charges against daily activity reports generated from Pyxis to maximize charge capture. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.. This individual must also possess strong multi-tasking abilities and bring positivity and passion to their work. Employment Type: Per Diem

Location: Hackensack, NJ

Compensation Range: $21.70 - $32.98 per hour


Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: SCOPE:

  • Reviews monthly charge capture analysis reports to identify missed revenue.
  • Works with individual offices to reconcile and recover any missed revenue identified by the charge capture analysis reports.
  • Audits daily activity reports generated by pyxis for all sites to compare drug dosages dispensed to charges billed for services to maximize charge capture.
  • Assists in establishing action plans for problem sites and follows up to ensure implementation of improvements.
  • Assesses site specific procedures to ensure revenue/charge capture.
  • Summarizes audit findings and preliminary recommendations for management review.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum three years of front office and billing experience.
  • Medical business office experience preferred.
