Job Overview & Responsibilities

  • Join a small elite team and enjoy a weekend day shift 3x12 hour shift or a stellar team working 3rd shift 4x10 hour shift Sunday through Thursday.
  • Technician would be performing GTAW welding, spot welding, and spot/seam welding of CRES stainless steel skin segments and brackets.
  • Work in a maintained clean environment.
  • Interpret standard work instructions.
  • Maintain assigned work areas.
  • Comply with all safety rules.
  • Ensure that equipment is used in accordance with established safety and operating procedures.

Required Years of Experience

Minimum of 2 years of related work experience

Basic Qualifications



  • There are two shift options available (must be willing to work one of the shifts listed below):

    • Weekend day shift 3x12 hour shift (Friday through Sunday)
    • Weekday night shift 4x10 3rd shift (Sunday through Thursday)


  • Must be willing to work weekends, extended hours, and off shifts as needed.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a welding-fitting/machine environment as a machine or robotics operator.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, detailed written work instructions, and other printed or graphical instruction.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs., bend, kneel, squat, stoop, work overhead, reach above shoulder level, sit, stand, walk (sometimes on uneven surfaces), and climb.
  • Ability to perform work with both hands which may involve forceful grasping, repetitive motion with low impact vibration.
  • Must be able to climb and work from ladders, rainbows and platforms for extended periods of time, awkward positions and in high places.



Preferred Qualifications



  • CNC Machining, Cutting and Welding System.
  • Manual weld experience in GTAW DCSP Stainless Steel Welding.
  • GTAW welding certification per AWS D17.1 or equivalent.
  • Experience in Resistance Spot Welding Stainless Steel.
  • RSW welding certification per AWS D17.2, C1.4, or equivalent (maybe too specific for spot welders, any spot welder operator may do).
  • Weld preparation and fit up experience.
