Job Description: The Hanover ESAB facility manufactures welding consumables for a variety of industrial uses. Manufacturing facilities are located at 1500 Karen Lane in Hanover, PA. We currently are looking to add on to our team as we continue "Shaping the World We Imagine!" Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Receive and tag raw materials Analyze physical property of materials including particle size, density, flow and viscosity Perform alloy ID and alloy verification testing Certify certificates of analysis to meet ESAB standards Maintain quality records Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to read, understand and demonstrate proficiencies of SOPs, work instructions and specifications Forklift certification Basic use of Microsoft Office Products Light maintenance Painting Housekeeping Rework, retesting and re-analysis
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED; Successful candidates will need to complete a background check, pre-employment drug screen, and work tolerance screening. Must be legally authorized to work in the US; sponsorship not applicable for this role
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally. Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, push, pull, bend and walk up and down steps for extended periods. Manual dexterity to operate machinery/equipment. Visual acuity to operate and/or inspect products and machinery/equipment.
Working Conditions:
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environment (hot and cold conditions). Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) as directed. Must adhere to all site policies and safety standards.
